Pakistan Government Debt Securities

There are no restrictions on foreign investors owning Pakistan government bonds.

Remark: Pakistan's Government Bond Market has expanded in recent years, with the Government intent on developing debt markets as a financing tool. The large portion of floating and permanent debt has been raised through the auctions of short term Government of Pakistan Market Treasury Bills (MTBs) and long term Pakistan Investment Bonds (PIBs).
